Do you have Miniature Dachshund puppies for sale?
Yes, we have AKC Longhaired Miniature Dachshund puppies for sale to approved homes. We carefully select our parent dogs from proven pedigrees that include many generations of Champion and Grand Champion lines, as well as performing health and genetic testing as recommended by the Dachshund Club of America.

We are located in Tyler, Texas, approximately 90 miles east of Dallas

What's included?
Our puppies are AKC registered, microchipped, and examined by a vet before leaving for their new homes. They will be up to date on age appropriate vaccines and parasite prevention, and come with a Puppy Care Kit full of food and toys to get you started. They will be covered by one month of free Trupanion pet insurance, as well as a one year health guarantee against any life threatening genetic conditions. You will receive a binder with their vaccination records, parents pedigrees, AKC registration application, and copies of our contract/health guarantee. We also include discount offers on some of our favorite products, as well as loads of other useful information for new puppy owners.

Do you have a wait list?
Yes! We do offer a priority wait list.  Families interested in a puppy from us may choose to join our priority list with a non-refundable deposit. While we do allow requests regarding a specific pairing or a particular gender/color, please understand that individual temperament will be prioritized when making placement decisions.  As the puppies develop, we carefully evaluate their temperaments to ensure the best match based on lifestyle, activity level, household dynamics, and expectations. A non-refundable $500 deposit reserves your place on our wait list and allows us time to get to know your family before puppies arrive. We sometimes have puppies available outside the wait list due to timing issues, litters that we held back for evaluation, or changes in availability. Do you sell puppies with full/unlimited (breeding) rights?
Our puppies are placed with AKC limited registration (no breeding rights) unless prior arrangements have been made. Breeding rights are considered on a very limited basis, and only for approved programs whose goals align with our philosophy.

How much do your puppies cost?
Our puppies are typically priced between $3500-$4000 dependent on registration status and the specific puppy. This investment reflects the extensive health testing, veterinary care, early socialization, and lifelong breeder support that is part of every Legacy Lane puppy. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy until they are ready to go home, usually between 8 and 10 weeks.

How do I apply for a puppy?
We screen our potential puppy families carefully, using a detailed application and interview process. Our puppies are very special to us, and we want to ensure that we choose the best forever home for them.

Do you ship puppies?
We do not ship puppies as cargo. Puppies must be picked up in person in Tyler, TX or transported through an approved flight nanny service.
